The Nebraska Middle School Bowling Federation has been created to serve the 5th – 8th grade youths in our state with the opportunity to compete in bowling competition of a higher level than the current youth league offers.

Along with the partnership of the Nebraska High School Bowling Federation, the Nebraska Bowling Proprietors Association, Pro Shops, independent bowling centers, parents and players a program has emerged to provide those young athletes with monthly, structured, conference tournament play.

Designed to accommodate students of all skill levels, gender and backgrounds, the Nebraska Middle School Bowling Federation will serve all students in grades 5th through 8th.

Competition will be conducted each month at various sites throughout the state to mirror the NHSBF district competition boundaries. This will relieve teams of the un-needed expense and time of traveling across the state.

Competitions will be limited to one tournament a month during the select fall/winter season. At the end of the season “The Grand Tournament” will be held to reward all participants with a chance to compete with the “Best”. This tournament will allow those players to team up with the best High School Federation bowlers.

Teams will be formed through local bowling centers with the guidance of the NMSBF and the NHSBF. Local certified coaches will be encouraged to help in the formation of these teams and the development of the local programs.
