District Tournament
Sites
The NHSBF
is pleased to announce the 2007-2008 season
district events, locations, and team
assignments. The NHSBF will utilize the same format statewide for all
district events. All teams will bowl 4
regular games at the district event. Please
note, there are NO Baker games bowled at the
district event.
All Class
A and C district events will automatically
advance the top TWO teams to the state finals.
The remaining 4 spots will be awarded based on
the will card selection process.
Class B district events will automatically
advance the top ONE team to the state finals.
The remaining 4 spots will be awarded based on the
wild card selection process.
Class D
district events will crown a district champion
and all teams will advance to the state
finals.
Wild card
winners will be announced on the NHSBF website
on Monday, January 28th, pending no delays due
to snow or inclement weather.
As a
reminder, the top 10 individual players at each
district event will automatically advance to the
singles portion of the state event, regardless
of team performance. Individuals advancing
where there team does not advance, will be
announced on the NHSBF site by Jan. 28, 2008.
The NHSBF
State Championships will take place on Feb. 9-10,
2008 at Sun Valley Lanes and Hollywood Bowl in
Lincoln. Details regarding this event on
this website in the near future.
