Where we’ve been

The Nebraska High School Bowling Federation (NHSBF) was established in 2002 in order to provide high school students with the opportunity to participate in a lifelong sport and experience the spirit of team competition at the high school level. At the end of the 2008 season, 94 high schools and nearly 1,600 bowlers were represented in NHSBF competition. The season culminated with the crowning of eight state champions in front of a statewide audience on Nebraska Educational Television.

Where we’re going

The goal of the NHSBF is to get high school bowling sanctioned by the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA). Current student bowlers choose to participate because they enjoy the competition and the sport of bowling. With your help and support, bowling can be an NSAA-recognized sport, and these student athletes can be finally recognized for their hard work and dedication.
